THE RUN
Join us for a beautiful run on Gasparilla Island. The 5K & 10K runs start at the Boca Grande Community Center and travels by scenic views of Charlotte Harbor, through the historic district of Boca Grande, down palm tree lined Gilchrist Avenue and finishes on famous Banyan Street. Several water stations will be on the course and refreshments will be available during the post race activities.

DOOR PRIZES
Lots of door prizes will be given away but you must be present to win. The grand prize, presented by Anchor Inn through Parsley-Baldwin Realty, is a three day/two night stay in one of Anchor Inn’s two bedroom units for up to four people. 5K & 10K AGE DIVISIONS & AWARDS
Awards will be given to the first, second and third place male and female winners in each age division: 14 & under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70-74, 75+. Special awards will be given for the male & female overall, master (40+), grandmaster (50+), and senior grandmaster (60+) winners.

LONG SLEEVE SHIRTS & RACE PACKETS
Long sleeve shirts will be distributed to the first 200 paid participants. Shirts are not guaranteed to those who register on race day. Packets will be available for pick-up starting at 6:00 a.m. at the Boca Grande Community Center on race day.

RACE PROCEEDS
A portion of the proceeds goes to help support youth programs offered at the Boca Grande Community Center.

RESTRICTIONS & CAUTIONS
For the safety and enjoyment of all, the course is restricted to registered participants and race officials only. Unregistered runners, unauthorized vehicles, bicycles, skateboards, rollerskates, rollerblades, scooters, baby joggers/strollers and dogs are strictly prohibited. Runners are prohibited from carrying objects with them while they run to prevent the possibility of injury to themselves or others. We discourage the use of radio/recorder headphones. The risk of running in high temperature and humidity is inherent to Florida running. Be sure to drink plenty of fluids before the start of the event and remember to replace your fluids on the course and after the finish.
